The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors approved the pilot program earlier this year to serve commuters going to Loudoun County employment centers. A feasibility study on commuter bus services going into Loudoun County analyzed commuting patterns, current services and data from employers identified needs for new bus service into the county. Loudoun County already has commuter bus routes from within the county to employment centers in D.C. and Arlington.
The pilot program has funding for one year and could be extended if data supports it. The Board of Supervisors will decide on the program's future.
