STERLING, VA—A threatening email was received Tuesday by the All Dulles Area Muslim Society headquarters but was deemed non-credible after an investigation, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. As a precaution, however, increased patrols were placed at all mosques in Loudoun County.

Asked what the threat was, LCSO spokesman Kraig Troxell said via email that "at this point, we cannot release details of the content of the email." During the increased patrols, the LCSO remained in contact with members of the ADAMS executive board.
