New Recycling Center Opens In Eastern Loudoun County
A recycling location serving eastern Loudoun County is back after another facility closed last year.
STERLING, VA — A recycling center convenient to eastern Loudoun County residents is back again in a new location.
The new Sterling Recycling Center is open at Claude Moore Park, Loudoun County government announced Wednesday. The address of the recycling center is 46279 West Juniper Avenue in Sterling. A ribbon cutting will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2.
The new facility replaces the Sterling Park Community Recycling Center, which permanently closed in September 2024 to accommodate renovations at Park View High School.

Loudoun County residents can bring households quantities of glass and plastic bottles, cans, jugs, and jars, cardboard and paper to the recycling center.
Other recycling locations in Loudoun County are the Loudoun County Landfill, Arcola Community Center, Central Western Loudoun (Hamilton), Lovettsville, Lucketts Elementary School, Mickie Gordon Memorial Park, One Loudoun Glass Recycling Center and Philomont Fire Department.
