Police: Angry Cyclist Hits Woman With Bike

A man struck a woman with his bicycle on a walking trail in Sterling.

The Loudoun County’s Sheriff’s office is in search of a white male who approached and threatened two females at the W & OD Trail/Loudoun County Parkway on Monday.

A resident reported to police that she and a friend were walking on the trail around 2:45 pm when a cyclist heading towards them yelled that he would hit them. The residents told police that they moved out of the way but the man approached the females and began threatening them again.

One of the females was struck by this man’s bicycle.

The suspect was described as a White male in his late 50’s to early 60’s, with a slender build and grey hair. He was wearing a green t-shirt with black pants and tennis shoes, according to the police report.
