Recycle Old TVs, Computers, Other Electronics at Telos Saturday

The county recycling event aims to help residents dispose of unwanted items that should not be thrown in regular trash.

Recycle your unwanted computers, printers, televisions, DVRs, VCRs, stereos, cell phones, power tools and other electronic devices – including cords, cables and Christmas lights – at the next Loudoun County Electronics Recycling Event Saturday.

Telos Corporation, 19886 Ashburn Road, in Ashburn will serve as the host location for the event, which takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

Fees apply for televisions ($12 each) and computer monitors ($3 each), which can be made by cash or check (make checks payable to CRS Holdings of America). There is no charge for other electronics, but there is a limit of 15 items per vehicle.
Items that CANNOT be accepted include printer cartridges, household batteries, light bulbs, fluorescent lights, thermostats, fire alarms, and household appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, stoves, washers and dryers.
