Reminder: Vote for Silver Line Station Names at Public Meeting Nov. 8

Residents are reminded to attend a meeting this Saturday at Discovery Elementary School to name the county's new Silver Line Metro stations.

Loudoun County is reminding residents to attend its second public meeting Saturday, Nov. 8 in connection with the naming of the future Route 606 and Route 772 Silver Line Metro stations.

Members of the public who attend the meeting will have the opportunity to vote for their preferred names for the two stations. The meeting will also feature information about transit and commuting options in Loudoun County, including the Loudoun County Transit Commuter Bus service and the county’s Silver Line bus service.

The meeting will take place Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Discovery Elementary School, located at 44020 Grace Bridge Drive

Members of the public may cast their vote for their favorite name online at www.loudoun.gov/stationnames. Online voting will continue through the next four weeks.
