BRAMBLETON, VA — Commuters around Brambleton will notice a road closure on one of the major routes.

Evergreen Mills Road is closed during daytime work by the Virginia Department of Transportation. The closure will happen 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily from Monday, April 14 to Thursday, April 17 between Creighton Road/Hartland Drive and Arcola Mills Drive. VDOT says the closure is for a drainage pipe replacement.

Residents will have access to their properties along Evergreen Mills Road, but drivers will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement in both directions, between the Founders Drive/Hanson Park Drive and the Correspondent Drive/Hanson Park Drive traffic signals.
