New Fast Casual Concept In Ashburn To Give Away Food To First Guests During Opening

ASHBURN, VA — The first 50 people at a fast-casual restaurant opening in Ashburn Saturday will get free food.

Colorado-based healthy bowls concept Rush Bowls will open at the Ashbrook Commons Plaza (20070 Ashbrook Commons Plaza #191) in Ashburn on Saturday, April 26. A free bowl or smoothie will be given to the first 50 customers.

"After the success of our Brambleton location last year, we’re looking forward to opening another location here in Loudoun County," said Daryn and Michelle Allday, franchise owners of the Rush Bowls Ashburn and Brambleton locations. "Our ability to customize every bowl and smoothie sets us apart, allowing guests to truly make it their own."

Rush Bowls offers blended bowls and smoothies with signature and build-your-own options. Some of the customer favorites are the açaí Beach Bowl, the Peanut Butter and Jelly Bowl, and the Yoga Bowl with matcha green tea. Bowls and smoothies can be customized with toppings like house-made nut butters, jams and granola, fruits and wellness boosters like immune support and hangover relief. The menu also offers the brand's Rush Bites protein balls and Bow Wow Bowls for dogs.

The 1,200-sqare-foot Ashburn location offers bar-top seating, takeout and delivery. Ordering and a rewards program are available through the Rush Bowls app, and third-party takeout and delivery are offered through DoorDash and Uber Eats. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
