Sharon Virts Makes Inc. Magazine's List of the 50 fastest-growing women-led companies in America

Ashburn-based FCI Federal's CEO ranks on INC. Magazine's "2015 Impact 50" List.

Sharon Virts, the CEO and founder of FCi Federal, ranked 17 on INC. Magazine’s “The 2015 Impact 50” list. FCi Federal provides operations processing services and adjudication support to the government. The company holds major contracts at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of State.

“To begin, it’s worth taking a moment to appreciate the obvious way in which the Impact 50 are unique: These are the women entrepreneurs of the Inc. 5000 whose companies have shown the largest growth in revenues,” stated INC Magazine. “But it’s also instructive to look at the not-so-obvious ties that bind these women together: the inventiveness, the belief that by starting small you can eventually upend the bigger players, and the embrace of unconventional strategies for growth.”

Virts, who has nearly 30 years of experience in the federal market found FedConsulting (now FCi Federal) in 1991.
