A man was arrested Thursday after stalking and then abducting a woman in Sterling, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

STERLING, VA—A man was arrested Thursday after stalking and then abducting a woman in the 400 block of Bailey Court, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. Chester S. Wesley, 20, of Reston, was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of simple assault, trespassing, stalking, petit larceny, grand larceny, abduction and robbery.

Police went to the woman's home Thursday after she said a man she knows "unlawfully entered her residence twice during the day." The first time, Wesley woke her up and left after another resident confronted him, but not before stealing the woman's purse on the way out the door.

The second time, later in the day, Wesley went in again, grabbed the woman and prevented her from using her phone to call for help. He pushed her, a brief fight ensued, and he fled the home and the area. Wesley was found after an investigation and taken to jail, where he was being held without bond.
