Student Found With Gun At School In Ashburn: LCSO

ASHBURN, VA—A student was arrested Monday after being found with a gun in Briar Woods High School at 22535 Belmont Ridge Road, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The boy was charged as a juvenile with felony brandishing of a firearm and possession of a firearm on school property.

Around 11:45 a.m., a School Resource Officer was notified that a student had a possible firearm at the school. Images of the student with was later was determined to be a BB gun had been posted to social media. The student was identified and the BB gun "was found on his possession." He was being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.
