STERLING, VA—Police are looking for an unknown armed man who robbed the SunTrust bank at Safeway in the 22300 block of South Sterling Boulevard late Monday afternoon, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.
He's described as Hispanic or Middle Eastern, around 5-8 with a slim build, stained yellow teeth with some front ones chipped. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a knit hat underneath.
Around 4:40 p.m. at Sterling Plaza, he approached a teller, handed over a note, flashed a gun and demanded cash. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-777-1021.
