Thousands Without Power in Ashburn, May Be Hours Before Fixed

BREAKING: Dominion Power is reporting a power outage in Ashburn that is impacting 3,200 customers Wednesday morning.

ASHBURN, VA — More than 3,200 customers were without power in Ashburn on Wednesday morning, with Dominion Power estimating it could be hours before the lights can be turned back on.

The area impacted includes Ashburn Village and the area around Ashburn Elementary School and Ray Muth Sr. Memorial Park.

According to Dominion's power outage alert page, the cause has not been determined and the estimated time for power to be restored could be between 1-5 p.m. Wednesday.

The Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) announced that all administrative offices were closed Wednesday morning, due to the outage.
