Three Assaulted After Attempting to Stop Domestic Altercation

An Aldie man is in custody after allegedly assaulting three men who attempted to break up a domestic altercation.

A group of passersby saw a man engaged in a domestic altercation with a female and confronted the man, identified as Justin L. Ashby, 30, of Aldie, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office. Ashby then reportedly assaulted the three men before being subdued by several witnesses.

The incident occurred around 4:34 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of McPherson Circle and Ferguson Court in Sterling.

Ashby was charged with three misdemeanor counts of assault. He was held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on $2,500 bond.
