Want to Join Others in Loudoun Helping Feed Thousands?
Volunteer for the 'Stop Hunger Now' at Harmony UMC in Hamilton Oct. 26.

Volunteers are needed Oct. 26 to help local houses of worship and other organizations feed thousands around the world.
During an event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 26 at Harmony United Methodist Church in Hamilton, meal packages will be assembled through the Stop Hunger Now program. Volunteers are needed to help assemble about 30,000 meals during the four-hour packaging marathon.
Each package serves a family of six; in some cases it could be the family’s only meal that day. The meals are designed to store and ship easily, and have a two-year shelf life. Stop Hunger Now distributes the meals as needed for school feeding programs and crisis relief.
