VIRGINIA — June brings a number of events around Northern Virginia and D.C., but attendees should be aware of precipitation spoiling outdoor plans.
WorldPride will wrap up this weekend, but not before some major events happen. A few of the notable events include Pride on the Pier Boat Parade and Fireworks Show, World Pride Music Festival, WorldPride Parade, WorldPride Street Festival And Concert, WorldPride Closing Concert, International Rally + Marchon Washington for Freedom and Fairfax Pride.
Other top events this weekend are the Saint Katherine's Greek Festival, Western Loudoun Art and Studio Tour, Taste Of Springfield, Occoquan Riverfest & Craft Show, Historic Manassas Railway Festival, Old Town Alexandria Arts & Crafts Fair and Petpalooza.

If you're heading to outdoor events, be sure to check the weather forecast before you go. The National Weather Service expects scattered showers and thunderstorms in D.C. after 5 p.m. Friday into early Saturday. Showers are likely on Saturday and Sunday, with possible thunderstorms after 2 p.m. each day.
