ASHBURN, VA — Wicket Door Pub, a locally-owned restaurant with breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, announced its permanent closure Wednesday.

"We are saddened to say that at this time, Wicket Door Pub is closing its doors," owners Mark and Kristi Hanlon shared on social media. "We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing us to be part of your community for the past 5 years. We deeply appreciate our loyal guests. You made our dream an absolute pleasure!"

The owners did not provide a reason for the closing. Patch has reached out to the restaurant and will update this story if we hear back.

The restaurant was located at the University Commerce Center, 44921 George Washington Blvd Suite 100 in Ashburn north of Route 7. Wicket Door Pub offered an outdoor patio, weekly specials, and a happy hour.
