Wind Blows Showers Through Loudoun
One Ashburn resident called the brief blow up the 'scariest 15 minutes of my life.'
High winds and heavy rain just blew threw Ashburn and Loudoun County, and as I was shooting and editing this video, the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Loudoun. The warning ended at 4 p.m., but residents should remain on alert as storm warnings remain in place for Loudoun.
One Ashburn resident wrote on Facebook: "I was on the road when the tornado/storm went through Ashburn!!!....... Scariest 15 minutes of my life.... There was lighting and tree branches everywhere and stuff was flying around.... I should have stayed at work and been late to my appt."
