- Later this month, Blacksburg will become "Bikesburg" as bicycles are celebrated and elevated throughout town. During the week of May 19 - 26, there will be a wide variety of bicycle-themed activities, including a Bike Parade and Festival, Bicycling with Butterflies, Bike Yoga, and more. - Virginia Tech and George Mason University have been awarded a $2M grant from the National Science Foundation to "develop distributed, mobile space and terrestrial networking infrastructure for multi-constellation coexistence."
