• Hall, Jr., Cyrus Onley (nrvnews.com) — Christiansburg readers are remembering Cyrus “Cy” Hall, Jr., who once called the New River Valley home while working as a project bidder for HICO in town. The 96-year-old Virginia native, former Virginia Tech football player, and theater manager later lived in Houston, where he passed away. His family suggests memorial donations to help provide eyeglasses for people in need, honoring a cause close to his heart.
