• ‘Caroline Reads' initiative aims to build up community one book at a time (fredericksburgfreepress.com) — Bowling Green families are at the heart of a new countywide “Caroline Reads” literacy push, with the Caroline Cruiser book bus stopping at Walgreens in town and grants targeting Bowling Green Elementary and Caroline Middle School. The year-long effort will add adult book clubs, a student-run bookstore café at Caroline High, and a Main Street kickoff in Bowling Green on February 7 with free books and activities.
