Bomb Threat On TikTok Made Against School In Fairfax County: Report

Extra security measures were in place at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke on Thursday after a bomb threat was made on TikTok.

BURKE, VA — Extra security measures were in place at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke on Thursday after a bomb threat was made on TikTok.

Lake Braddock Secondary School Principal Lindsey Kearns sent a letter to parents Wednesday night saying that a student had made a threat on an anonymous Lake Braddock TikTok account, WUSA9 reported Thursday.

The TikTok post stated: “Ima bomb the school on 1/18/24,” according to WUSA9.

The school contacted the Fairfax County Police Department, and additional security was provided at the school on Thursday. No incidents were reported on Thursday.

Members of the public with information about the threat can call an anonymous safety tip line at 571-423-2020, or text information to 888-777 with the keyword "tip FCPS."
