Burke-Founded Glory Days Grill To Receive 2021 RAMMY Award
The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington announced finalists for its 2021 RAMMYs as well as milestone award winners.

BURKE, VA — Glory Days Grill, a sports bar chain with its original location in Burke, will receive one of the milestone awards at the 2021 RAMMYs, the regional restaurant and food service awards held by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW).
RAMW announced winners of the 2021 Honorary Milestone RAMMY Award as well as finalists for RAMMY awards decided by judges or the public. Glory Days Grill, which dates back to 1996 with the opening of its Burke location, is being recognized for 25 years of business. Other restaurants receiving milestone awards are La Chaumiere (45 years), Peacock Cafe (30 years), Pizzeria Paradiso (30 years), and Ristorante Piccolo (35 years).
The annual awards honor the accomplishments of the DC region's restaurant and food service community. For this year only, the RAMMYs will include special categories that recognize the challenges faced during the COVID-19 pandemic and creative ways businesses have adapted. A few examples are Finer Dining in a Box honoring takeout meals, Most Innovative To-Go Packaging Game celebrating creative takeout packaging, Most Impressive Pivot to Provisions or Market for restaurant operators providing provisions and other supplies, and Coolest Cocktails and Beverages To-Go. Another change this year was that RAMW membership was not required for nominations.
