Burke Lake Park To Host Guided Stargazing Event In February
Burke Lake Park will be hosting a Stargazing Spectacular on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 5 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Burke Lake Park will be hosting a Stargazing Spectacular on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 5 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
The event, at 7315 Ox Road in Fairfax Station, will feature family-friendly activities, including guided star gazing, telescope observations, and gathering around the campfire to hear ancient stories about constellations. Enrollment is $10 per person.
With long evenings and clear skies, winter “is a great time to observe constellations and planets and create lasting family memories at the same time,” the Fairfax County Park Authority said.

Hot chocolate and snacks will be available for purchase at the event. The event will be canceled if it is raining or snowing.
