Burke Ranks #6 in Best Cities for Virginia's Young Families Survey

NerdWallet recently ranked Burke sixth best place for young families to settle down.

When it comes to choosing a place to live in Northern Virginia, young families have many towns to choose from. 

Consumer advocacy website NerdWallet recently ranked Burke the sixth-best place to live in its Best Cities for Young Families in Virginia survey. 

The survey evaluated five factors in each town, including:

The survey acknowledges Burke's abundance of family-oriented activities as one of the key factors for its rating.

"It’s a small, planned community, with just 1,700 acres split into five neighborhoods – and it’s also got five public pools to match," the survey reads. "Don’t mistake a small and compact size for a sleepy town!"
