BURKE, VA — The Burke Wendy's is reopening after renovations and will have a free food contest for the grand reopening.The location at 6056 Burke Commons Road, Burke, will hold the reopening event Saturday, Jan. 8. The first 100 customers in line by 10:30 a.m. who make a purchase get the chance to win free food for a year. Wend American Group, a Wendy's franchise owner that's part of Flynn Restaurant Group, is offering the giveaway to celebrate the renovations. The renovated location offers a new contemporary design with multiple seating options, including private booths and lounge seating.
