Greenspring 2024 Staff Appreciation Fund Rewards Hourly Team Members

Greenspring, the Erickson Senior Living community in Springfield, Va., distributed more than $431,476 to eligible hourly team members through its 2024 Staff Appreciation Fund (SAF).

The SAF, made possible through generous donations from warm-hearted residents, was dispersed during a Staff Appreciation event on December 4. The celebration included a special visit from Santa, live music from the Surf Jaguars band, hot cinnamon donuts, ice cream novelties, a chance to win an iPad, and lots of laughter and hugs. In addition to the residents' financial gifts, the community gave a Greenspring sling bag as a token of appreciation. Team members had thank you signs and were dressed in festive holiday attire for the celebration.

The gifts served as a thank you for providing residents with industry-leading services that enhance the community's engaging, worry-free lifestyle.

"The incredible generosity of residents who support the Staff Appreciation Fund matches the wonderful spirit of the season," stated Executive Director Melissa Robson. "In turn, our team members have earned this recognition for their caring attitudes, creativity, and diligence. Together, they make Greenspring an amazing place to live and work."

More than 800 employees were celebrated and received a distribution from the Fund this year.
