Indecent Exposure Arrest Made On Fairfax Co. Trail: Police
Fairfax County police believe the suspect may have exposed himself on other occasions along the Pohick Stream Valley Trail in Burke.

BURKE, VA — A Burke man was charged with indecent exposure for an incident that took place on a trail on Saturday, and police believe the suspect may have exposed himself on other occasions.
Sean Maxwell, 53, was charged with indecent exposure while jogging on Pohick Stream Valley Trail near the intersection of Coffer Woods Court and Blincoe Court in Burke, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Someone saw a man running on a trail in the woods, exposing himself around 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, police said.

The witness was able to record the incident and provide it to officers. Officers were able to view the suspect from the video in the act. While officers were on the scene, the suspect left the trail, and he was arrested, police said.
After speaking with local residents, police officers believe Maxwell may have exposed himself on multiple other occasions along the Pohick Stream Valley Trail in Burke, according to the FCPD.

Officers are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen Maxwell expose himself in the area of Coffer Woods Road between Burke Centre Parkway and Burke Lake Road. Residents who believe they were a victim of indecent exposure can call the FCPD’s West Springfield Station at 703-644-7377, and ask to speak with a detective.
