Summer can be filled with trips to the beach and barbecues with family and friends, but for some, particularly high school students, studying can also be a summer activity.
That’s where the C2 Education center in the Burke Town Plaza comes in.
C2 Education offers SAT prep for four hours a day, three days a week or parents can opt to enroll their child in one of their summer boot camps which last for six hours a day for two weeks.
"Most [C2 Education] students do SAT prep in the summer,” said Kathy Marshall, director of C2 Education. "The students are very happy here and our SAT boot camp is already full."

The tutoring center serves students in kindergarten through high school seniors and provides tutoring for subjects such as algebra, geometry and more. The center also provides writing help for student essays.
Tutoring at C2 Education can cost up to $3,000 for one of their summer-long boot camps, which provide up to 108 hours of SAT prep.
