March Means a New Muffin a Day at Great Harvest

Great Harvest Bread in Burke and Lorton will feature a different whole grain muffin every day of the week in March.

Think of it: Blueberry, cran-blueberry oat, chocolate cherry and 28 others. Will you also get coffee to go? 

Here's the menu:

Tues: Cran Blueberry Oat

Wed: Ultra Berry

Thurs: Pumpkin, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip & Chocolate Cherry  

Fri: Peach Raspberry & Morning Glory

Sat: Blueberry Delight

"The whole-grain muffins were a customer request," said Great Harvest owner Jeanette Moler. "People want more whole-grain muffins for breakfast. You can get white muffins anywhere."

What's Moler's favorite muffin?

"Mine is peach raspberry - whole wheat, wheat bran and oat bran, apple sauce, yogurt, eggs, raspberries and we top it with a peach. And it's so delicious," she said.
