Springfield and Burke-area residents now have another option to consider when shopping for all of their vitamin needs. A new GNC health and wellness store just opened in Springfield Plaza.
The store, located at 6408 Springfield Plaza beside the Art and Framing Plus, opened on June 28.
In addition to passing out free vitamin shots, the store is offering free Gold Card memberships while supplies last to celebrate their grand opening. GNC is known for selling a variety of vitamins and other nutritional and supplements.
Customers have welcomed the store, said Store Manager Hunter Parsons, who added that the reception has been largely positive.
"I think this location is phenomenal. We've been getting a lot of folks stopping in just from the foot traffic here in the shopping center," said Parsons.
The vitamin retail store is now the third location in the Burke and Springfield area. There's a GNC in the Burke Center Shopping Center off of Burke Centre Parkway and another located on Port Royal Road in Springfield.
The Springfield Plaza GNC is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
