The anonymous winners join others from Alexandria, Bealeton, Hopewell, and Madison, while lottery profits continue supporting Kā12 public schools across Virginia.

⢠FCPD: Speed under investigation in fatal Fairfax County Parkway crash (ffxnow.com) ā A driver was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Fairfax County Parkway near Huntsman Boulevard in Burke, and police are now investigating whether speed played a role. The victim, an Alexandria woman, died at the scene, while the other two drivers were uninjured. Detectives say alcohol doesnāt appear to be a factor but the investigation continues.

⢠Protesters rally outside DC Customs and Border Protection HQ after ICE killing of Renee Good (wusa9.com) ā Burke residents Otto and Holly Hobbs joined thousands protesting outside U.S. Customs and Border Protection headquarters in D.C. after the ICE killing of Renee Good in Minneapolis. They described feeling terrified and outraged, vowing to keep protesting alongside others worried about the countryās direction and the value placed on human life.
