The anonymous winners join others from Alexandria, Bealeton, Hopewell, and Madison, while lottery profits continue supporting Kā€“12 public schools across Virginia.

ā€¢ FCPD: Speed under investigation in fatal Fairfax County Parkway crash (ffxnow.com) ā€” A driver was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Fairfax County Parkway near Huntsman Boulevard in Burke, and police are now investigating whether speed played a role. The victim, an Alexandria woman, died at the scene, while the other two drivers were uninjured. Detectives say alcohol doesnā€™t appear to be a factor but the investigation continues.
