The 35th annual Burke Centre Festival was cut short Saturday, due to the storm that passed through the area about 3:40 p.m., bringing heavy rains and strong winds. The festival continues Sunday, from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on the grounds of the .   Parking is available in business, church and school lots along Burke Centre Parkway.  There are from 10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. The National Weather Service predicts a mostly sunny day in the mid 70s.
