Santa Runs By Burke Volunteer Fire & Rescue To Kick Off Holiday Season

The Burke Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department will be holding Santa Runs, Santa Meet and Greets, and Pancakes with Santa in December.

BURKE, VA — The Burke Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department will be holding Santa Runs and Santa Meet and Greets in December.

The Santa Runs will take place between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekends from Saturday, Dec. 2 through Saturday, Dec. 23.

On Saturday, Dec. 2, Santa will kick off the 2023 Santa Runs in the neighborhoods and streets off Lee Chapel Road between Burke Lake Road and Old Keene Mill Road, including Britford Drive, Tisbury Drive, and William Kirk Lane as well as the streets off of Shiplett Boulevard from Burke Lake Road to and including Capella Avenue.

Meet and Greets with Santa will be held at the firehouse at 9501 Old Burke Lake Road in Burke every Wednesday in December through Christmas.

The fire department also will be holding its Pancakes with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 9.
