Summer Concert Series Planned At 3 Braddock District Locations

Braddock Nights concerts are planned at two locations, and free children's performances are planned at the Audrey Moore Rec Center.

BURKE, VA — The summer season has arrived, and that means the return of Braddock Nights concerts at three locations.

Braddock Nights and the children's Arts in the Parks are part of the Fairfax County Park Authority's free Summer Entertainment Series at 18 locations in June, July and August. The Braddock Nights concerts will be held at Royal Lake Park at 5344 Gainsborough Drive, Fairfax, and Lake Accotink Park at 7500 Accotink Park Road, Springfield from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The first concert at both venues is scheduled for July 8 and the final concert is slated for Aug. 19.

A free Children's Arts in the Parks series will take place on Saturdays at 10 a.m. outside the Audrey Moore Rec Center at 8100 Braddock Road, Annandale.

  • July 30: Fairfax Symphony Orchestra Percussion Ensemble (Children’s Music)
