• Northampton Board asks VDOT to lower speed limit on 13 around Cape Charles and Bayside Road by ESAAA (shoredailynews.com) — Drivers on Route 13 near Cape Charles could soon see lower speed limits as Northampton supervisors unanimously asked VDOT to slow traffic through the busy Kiptopeke-to-Townfield corridor. They also requested a 25 mph school-zone limit on Bayside Road by the ESAAA/Head Start facility in Exmore, citing heavy congestion, new development, and safety concerns for children, seniors, and other vulnerable road users.
