The Fairfax County Sheriff's Office awarded a  Certificate of Commendation to Centreville resident Fadwa M. Numan for successfully completing all of the requirements to become a Certified Correctional Health Professional.  Numan received her award from Sheriff Stan Barry at a ceremony on June 28, 2011, held in the Historic Fairfax County Courthouse.  Numan, an employee with the Sheriff's Office for four years, is currently assigned to the medical section in the Adult Detention Center.
