Go Behind the Scenes With Fairfax County Police's K-9 Unit

Find out how officers become K-9 handlers and how they are trained.

Meet two police K-9s and their handlers at the next Citizens Advisory Committee meeting on March 13. 

Find out about the training officers and dogs go through and what it takes to become a K-9 handler. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Sully District Police Station in Chantilly. 

The Citizens Advisory Committee meets monthly to connect local residents with the police department and provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions or talk about concerns.
