Calling All Sports Fans
Centreville High School needs three new coaches for its softball program.

New head softball coach Donnie Dutton is ready for a great season in 2012. There's just one part missing from the program: other coaches.
Dutton needs three dedicated volunteers to attend games and practices this spring: a head JV coach and an assistant JV coach, and an assistant varsity coach. Tryouts start Feb. 20th and the varsity season will run until at least the end of May. If the team does very well, it could run til mid-June. The JV season will be finished in mid-May.
Prospective coaches don't need to have extensive experience, but should understand the fundamentals and be able to help out with drills. "Somebody who has a little bit of knowledge of the game,” said Dutton, who was previously an assistant coach at .
