Centreville High Ranks Among America's Best Schools

ranks sixth in Virginia and no. 246 in the nation on Newsweek's annual list of America's Best Schools. 

The school's 96 percent graduation rate, along with a 93 percent rate of graduating seniors attending college, helped propel the school onto the list of the 1,000 best schools in the country. Students scored an average of 1611 on SATs and 23.6 on the ACTs. 

Newsweek puts together the list every year, based on average standardized test scores, AP courses offered and graduation rates. Centreville is no stranger to the list either: last year, it nationwide.
