Centreville on Newsweek's 'Best High Schools' List

High School made Newsweek's annual list of The Best High Schools in America. It ranked as number 177 nationwide.

The school has a 96 percent graduation rate, a 92 percent rate of graduates attending college and average SAT score of 1626. 

Newsweek analyzed and ranked 1,000 schools nationwide this year, though the magazine changed its methodology in 2011. This year schools were evaluated based on graduation rate (25 percent), college matriculation rate (25 percent), average SAT/ACT scores (10 percent), average AP/IB scores (10 percent) and AP courses offered per graduate (5 percent).
