Commemorating Memorial Day

Today Centreville Patch, along with the rest of the nation, honors those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. As a reminder, at 3 p.m. today there will be a —one minute of silence to remember these men and women. It's well worth taking a minute out of the day, whether at a family BBQ, neighborhood party or in your own home, to honor these men and women. 

Today, Fairfax City Patch ran , a senior chaplain at Arlington National Cemetery. In Croom's line of work, every day is Memorial Day. His office buries about 20 veterans and their spouses every day. A good article—and a good reminder that the toll of two ongoing wars continues every day of the year.
