Concorde Athletes Take Top Honors at State Track & Field Championship

Nathan Kiley of Westfield places first, Chase Heiner of Centreville places second and Sean McGorty of Chantilly takes third in 800 meter run.

Chase Heiner placed second at the State Championship in the 800 meter run and broke the Centreville High School record for the third consecutive competition with 151.95.

Nathan Kiley of Westfield was first and Sean McGorty of Chantilly was third, so the Concorde district had a sweep of the top three spots in the 800. Both Kiley and McGorty are seniors, leaving Heiner the fastest returning runner in Virginia at that distance and the tenth fastest underclassman in the nation.
