Crash Kills Centreville Woman In Fairfax County: Police

A Centreville woman was killed Monday night in a two-vehicle crash in the area of Ox Road and Fairfax County Parkway: Fairfax County Police.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA—A Centreville woman was killed Monday night in a two-vehicle crash in the area of Ox Road and Fairfax County Parkway, according to Fairfax County Police. Melanie McKenna, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Around 8:45 p.m., police went to the scene for a reported crash. They found that the driver of a 1996 Toyota Corolla—McKenna—was headed south on Fairfax County Parkway when she approached a curve, lost control and went off the left side of the road. She then over-corrected and went into the northbound lanes, where she collided with a 2015 Acura MDX.

Three other people were injured but no other details were released.
