Man Arrested After Early Morning Car Chase Down I-66 and Route 28
I-66 closed for half an hour during the investigation.

A man allegedly under the influence of drugs hit a car and a police cruiser after he led cops on a car chase down Route 28 and I-66 early Tuesday morning, Fairfax County Police said.
Around 1 a.m. Luis Caballos, 28, had apparently set fire to cushions and some other items in a home he was staying at on the 14500 block of Lock Drive, then punched out a window and locked himself in the bathroom, police said. There were several people in the home at the time, and at least one was trying to extinguish the objects on fire.
After cops arrived at the scene, he fled in a Volkswagon, but hit a fence at the near Braddock Road.

With help from the Virginia State Police, officers were able to get the vehicle to stop near Route 7100 and used a Taser to subdue Caballos. Police said that he was allegedly being combative after he got out of the car. He was not injured from the crashes, but apparently did sustain some minor injuries from breaking the glass in the home.
The investigation is ongoing.
Caballos was charged with arson of an occupied dwelling, hit and run, simple assault on a law enforcement officer, disregarding police command to stop, malicious wounding, intentionally damaging property and driving while impaired. He is being held without bond in the Adult Detention Center.
