Chuck Mauro will tell the story of Laura Ratcliffe, a Confederate spy who lived in Frying Pan (now Floris). Mauro is a member of several area historical societies, an author, movie producer and photographer. He received the Nan Netherton Heritage Award in 1999 for historical research, writing and photography of The Battle of Chantilly (Ox Hill).
