Expect Roadwork on Stonecroft Boulevard This Week

Residents should expect roadwork on Stonecroft Boulevard in Chantilly beginning Friday night and continuing into Saturday. 

VDOT workers will replace signal poles and signal heads with new temporary signal poles and signal heads, and install overhead wire.

Lane closures will be in both the eastbound and westbound directions of Route 50 until completion, according to VDOT. Police officers will also periodically stop traffic so that workers can remove the poles. 

After the work is completed, traffic patterns will continue as normal. 

VDOT recommends using alternative routes during the work.
