Fair Lakes Area Road Closures Continue This Week

Ramps to and from northbound Fairfax County parkway to I-66 will remain closed in the evening hours, and lane closures are also in place along Fair Lakes Circle.

Residents should be aware that there are several projects going on in the Fair Lakes area this week, which may impact them.

The I-66 ramps to and from northbound the Fairfax County Parkway will be closed overnight this week. Crews are busy with the final paving for the new Fair Lakes/Fairfax County Parkway interchange.

Starting Tuesday night this week and continuing until Thursday night, VDOT is posting detours that are in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. On Friday night, the detours are in effect from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.

Residents can also expect single-lane closures and detours onto Fair Lakes Circle from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for the next eight weeks. Crews will continue to work along Fair Lakes Parkway and the Fairfax County Parkway from Lee Highway to Rugby Road.
