Someone recently took advantage of the cover of night to bring something unwanted to Centreville: spray-painted graffiti containing a racial slur.  The incident occurred in a parking lot on Palmetto Place, sometime between 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16 and 7:30 a.m. the next morning.  Among the items stolen this week: a Mercedes-Benz on Jasper Lane in Clifton, a catalytic converter from a car on Daly Drive in Chantilly, cash and credit cards from a business on Trinity Parkway in Centreville.
