Man Assaulted With Fist, Gun And Rock In Centreville: Police
A man was arrested Sunday after assaulting a man three different ways following a traffic accident in Centreville: Fairfax County Police.

CENTREVILLE, VA—A man was arrested early Sunday after assaulting another man three different ways following a traffic accident on Lee Highway, according to Fairfax County Police. Derek Burns Sr., 47, of Centreville, was charged with malicious wounding and brandishing a weapon.
Shortly after 1:30 a.m., two cars pulled into a Sunoco gas station at 14124 Lee Highway after a traffic accident. Burns started punching the other driver, went to his car, got a gun and began hitting the other driver on the head. When the other driver tried to leave, Burns grabbed a large stone and again began hitting him on the head. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries, and police found a gun at the scene.
